The THREE Star Award provides a flexible framework for students to explore and show case who they are, by designing their own complex tasks within seven broad headings.
At this level students are expected to be independent learners, receiving minimal supervision and advice from their teacher/tutor.
The calibre of task will be provide new and exciting opportunities to learn
something completely new and work in unfamiliar situations and with unfamiliar people.
The student will set multiple SMARTER targets (learning objectives) for each of the three tasks required for the completion of the THREE Star Award.
The THREE Star Award follows on from the TWO Star Award and successful completion of the both the TWO and THREE Star Award, students will achieve the NZQA Approved Certificate ‘The Mainstream Studies, South Pacific Educational Courses at Level 2’.
