Attention all RTLB / GSE & SLT’s
SPEC has agreed that RTLB Clusters or Regional GSE Teams may register as SPEC members.
What does this mean?
This means that an RTLB Cluster or a Regional GSE Team may apply to SPEC to become a SPEC Member. Each RTLB cluster or Regional GSE Team must become a paid up SPEC member in its own right.
Currently the annual membership (which is a rolling membership for 12 months at a cost of $400.00) for an RTLB cluster or Regional GSE Team will allow RTLB’s/GSE Key Workers to run any SPEC programme with students and schools they are working with.
If you do not wish to become a SPEC member you are able to purchase any Primary course material or any of the Mainstream Interest modules directly from this website.

If you or a school want to access any of the course material that leads to the NZQA approved Certificate Qualifications, then the school must become a SPEC member.
STAR Funding for SPEC Courses
SPEC Courses are now eligible for STAR Funding!
Notification via email from the Star Team was sent out to all school H.O.D’s of transition / Gateway / Careers identifying that the SPEC mainstream modules could be STAR funded.
