There are five modules to complete. Each module has a specific focus on one Key Competency. Students can be awarded a certificate for each Key Competency and can also achieve a special certificate for completing all five modules.

All courses for supported learners require evidence in the form of a portfolio of evidence which will be externally verified by SPEC Regional Facilitators.
Students must complete 8 tasks from each letter/module (total 40 tasks) to put towards the NZQA approved Certificate in Learning Support at Level 1. (111296)
